    • The gap crown between two work rolls of plate mills and the strip shape can be adjusted by axial shifting of the work rolls, both of them have a special contour. By the research on the function of the work roll contour. especially on the 3 power series function and the CVC roll contour function. a way to determine the contour parameters was found.The difference between CVC & UPC work rolls and the application of them was discussed.
