    Numerical simulation of heat conduction in polyfoam-fly ash thermal insulation materials

    • The mechanism of heat conduction in polyfoam-fly ash thermal insulation materials (FP) was studied with a finite element software ANSYS. The numerical simulation results of heat conductivity are agreeable with the measured ones, indicating that the finite element method can be applied to numerical simulation of heat conduction in FP materials. Based on the results of analysis, some measures were proposed for design and preparation of thermal insulation materials.
