    On Forced Lubrication in Wire Drawing——Determination of Length of Pressure Nezzle under Forced Lubriration

    • The forced lubrication can be reached with a pressure nozzle and die which was constructed in the form of concentric shaft mould core. The forced lubrication decreases in drawing force and the thick lubricant film between the die and a wire can be increased greatly. The surface lubricant weight and surface temperature of the wire are measured by using the divice of forced lubrication designed in this paper. The relation of drawing force with nozzle length and drawing speed is drawn. The experimental value and the theoretical formula can be used on the design of nozzle suitable length.
