Results of in-situ Stress Measurement in Ekou Iron Mine

Both hydraulic fracturing and borehole overcoring methods were used for in-situ stress measurement in Ekou Iron Mine. The basic principles of these two methods and a series of new techniques used in the field measurement are introduced. -Based on the measuring results,the distribution law of in-situ stress state in the Mine was established using grey algebraical curve model. The measuring results obtained by two different methods showed good agreement.
