Abstract

Abstract

In order to distinguish chaotic signal from stochastic signal, a new improved algorithm is proposed to overcome the shortcoming of the G-P algorithm and its improved form. The determination of the no-scale interval is simplified when the new algorithm is used. Moreover, the judgement for the saturation of the correlation dimension is realized objectively. The effectiveness of the new algorithm is illustrated by simulation samples.
