    • Molten steel of high solube Al conten and total Al content can result in the tundish nozzle blockage in continuous casting when heated by Al with CAS-OB refining technology. Some experiments have been made to treat molten steel by Al-CaO complex. The results Show that deoxidization by Al-CaO complex can not only reduce[Al]s (10x 10-6-30x 10b,[O] (7×10-12x 10-6) and T.O content simultaneously, but also control the morphology, amounts and distribution of the remaining inclusions in the Steel.
