    Effect of Catalysts and Additive Containing Li on the Reduction of Hematite by Carbon Monoxide

    • The effect of catalysts and additive containing Li on reduction of Fe2O3 by carbon monoxide has been studied by experimental methods. It is found that both of the catalysts and the additive have catalytic effect, moreover, the catalyst containing Li is more affective. X-ray diffraction showed that the main phases in catalyst containing Li are α-Fe and FeO, therefore, it is considered that α-Fe and FeO can also promote the reduction of Fe2O3 by carbon monoxide
