    Affect of Ridge Slope on the Stress in the Center of Workpiece in Skew Rolling

    • Through the study of the process of skew rolling step-axis with the help of FEM software ANSYS-DYNA, the stress on the middle section of the workpiece and the infection of ridge slope to the stress in the center is known. The result indicates the principal stress and Von-Miss stress have great influence on the middle section of the workpiece, the state of stress and the accumulation of the stress are the main reason of the failure.
