    • The changes in strength, hardness and impact ductility of 5CrNiMo steel added different contents of RE La element were investigated. The 5CrNiMo steels with and without RE addition were compared after treated by the same heat treatment process. The result shows that the strength, hardness and impact ductility of 5CrNiMo steel are obviously improved when added a proper content of RE La element; the 5CrNiMo steel with RE La element of 0.033% in mass fraction has the best mechanical properties.
