    High-temperature oxidation resistance coating for silicon steel

    • An anti-oxidation coating, mainly composed of MgO and Cr2O3, was prepared by a mixing method. XRD and SEM were used to study the difference of mass increment, oxidative products and element distribution between samples with and without coatings at 1400℃. The results show that the coatings are environmental-friendly and cost effective and also have good effect on grain-oriented silicon steel, with a wide range of anti-oxidation applications.
